Carson Overfield

Carson Overfield is an Associate at Halifax West, where he manages a team of analysts and is actively involved in deal execution. His expertise spans across the financial services sector, with a focus on M&A and capital advisory.

Prior to joining Halifax West, Carson gained valuable experience at Equiturn, a buy-side M&A advisory and management consulting firm in South Florida. At Equiturn, he managed a group of interns responsible for sourcing transactions and conducting due diligence on deals ranging from $2 million to $100 million in Total Enterprise Value.

Carson also worked at Merion Investment Partners, a $225 million SBIC private credit fund, where he aided in the execution of credit transactions and sourced new credit opportunities.

Before embarking on his career in financial services, Carson worked in sales at a startup digital advertising firm. In this client-facing role, he learned the intricacies of building a company from the ground up, further enriching his diverse professional background.

Carson holds a BBA in Finance from Florida Atlantic University.
